ORDER
New Delhi , the 8th November 1963
G.S.R. 1760.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Rice ( Punjab ) Price Control Order, 1963 , namely :-
1. This Order may be called the Rice ( Punjab ) Price Control Second Amend- ment Order , 1963 .
2. In the Schedule to the Rice ( Punjab ) Price Control Order , 1963 , -
( i) in the table of prices , for the entries against item 1 ' Fine' in column (1) and the corresponding entries relating thereto in column (2) thereof, the following item and entries shall be substituted , namely :-
"1. Fine
79.89 Superior Basmati ( raw )
77.21 Superior Basmati ( parboiled )
69.86 Basmati ( raw )
67.18 Sela Basmati
Hansraj , Mushkin , Ramjawain , Parmal , Chahora :
62.49 (a) raw
59.81" ;
(b) boiled
( ii ) in the heading under Appendix I , for the words and brackets " Superior Basmati ( raw ) rice " , the words and brackets " Superior Basmati (raw or parboiled ) rice " shall be substituted .
