NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 13th November , 1963
RESTRICTIONS ON FLYING INTO OR OVER CERTAIN AREAS OF NORTH EAST INDIA
S.O. 3207. In supersession of the notification of the Government of India, of the late Ministry of Transport and Communications No. S.O. 1092 , dated the 8th April , 1963 , and in exercise of the powers confer:conferred by clause ( b ) of sub - section ( 1) of section 6 of the Aircraft Act, 1934 ( 22 of 1934 ) , the Central Government , being of the opinion that it is in the interest of public safety so to do , hereby orders that for a further period of two years with effect from 14th November , 1963 , no air- craft shall , save in accordance with a special permit to be issued by the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Defence , subject to such conditions as it may think fit to impose , make flights into or over the following areas , namely: -
North East Frontier Agency. Nagaland , three border sub- divisions of Mani- pur viz . , UKHRUL , TENGNOUPAL and CHURACHANDPUR and the Mizo Hills district ( previously known as Lushai Hills district) .
