CUSTOMS
New Delhi , the 23rd November, 1963
G.S.R. 1816. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 read with sub- section ( 3 ) of section 160 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Gov- ernment of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ) No. 26- Customs , dated the 12th March , 1960 , namely: -
In the said Notification , in the Schedule annexed thereto , for Scrial No. 6 and the entries relating thereto , the following shall be substituted , namely : -
"6. 72 or 72 ( 3 )
Power transformers above 50,000 KVA and 220 KV on the H.T. side , furnace , rectifier and flame - proof transformers , and control gear therefor ; and component parts thereof . "
