S.R.O. 10 - E.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 16 of the Cantonments Act , 1924 , ( 2 of 1924 ) , the Central Government hereby fix 5th January 1964 , as the date on which elections in Belgaum Cantonment shall be held .
