Bank's staff are hereby notified :—
Shri P. L. Bhandari, Officer, took over charge of Sub- Agent's duties at Delhi Branch as from the close of busi- ness on the 4th September 1963.
Shri H. K. Khanna, Sub-Accountant, to be Agent, Kulu Branch, vice Shri S. D. Chandra, Staff Officer, Grade III, from the close of business on the 11th Sep- tember 1963.
Shri R. N. Sharma, Staff Officer, Grade III, held tem- porary charge of South Extension (New Delhi) Branch from the close of business on the 15th July 1963 to the close of business on the 20th September 1963.
Shri M. S. Kuppuswami. Staff Officer, Grade III, to be Agent, South Extension (New Delhi) Branch, vice Shri R. N. Sharma, Staff Officer, Grade III, from the close of business on the 20th September 1963.
Shri R. L. Jain, Staff Officer, to be Head Assistant, Accounts Department, New Delhi Local Head Office, vice Shri D. D. Bidani, Staff Officer, from the close of business on the 7 th October 1963.
Sarvshri M. C. Taneja, Staff Officer. Third Grade, and R. Chandra, Staff Officer. Third Grade, took over as Superintendents, District No. I and II,* respectively, with effect from the 19th June 1963.
Shri H. C. Vishnoi, Staff Officer, Third Grade, took over as Superintendent, District No. III, Branch Depart- ment, New Delhi Local Head Office, with effect from the 25th January 1963.
Shri R. K. Wattal, Staff Officer, Grade III, took over charge of Delhi University Pay Office (Under Delhi Branch), vice Shri M. L. Varma, Staff Officer, Grade III, from the close of business on the 2nd November 1963.

STATE BANK OF TRAVANCORE (Subsidiary of the State Bank of India) Trivandrum, the 25th November 1963
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Meet- ing of the Shareholders of the State Bank of Travancore will be held at the Bank's Head Office, "Ana Cutcherry", Trivandrum, on Tuesday the Seventh day of January 1964, at 11.30 A.M. (Standard Time) for the purpose of electing two persons to be Directors of the Board of the Bank in pursuance of Section 25(1) (d) of the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Act, 1959, in place of (1) Shri Krishnaswami-Sreenivasa Karayalar and (2) Shri Chakola Lonappan Palu, Directors of the Board of the Bank who will retire in terms of Section 26(2) of the said Act on the sixth January 1964, but are eligible for re-election under Section 26(3) of the said Act.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Register of Share- holders of the State Bank of Travancore will be closed for transfer of shares from the 1st January 1964 to the 21st January 1964, both days inclusive.

710 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, DECEMBER 7, 1963/AORAHAYANA 16,1885 [PART III—SEC. 4 MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT Employees' State Insurance Corporation New Delhi, the 20th November 1963(ii) In pursuance of the proviso to Section 47 of the Employees* State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the condition regarding minimum number of twelve contribu- tions payable during a contribution period for entitle- ment to sickness benefit in the corresponding benefit period is hereby waived for the first contribution period in respect of the insured persons in the areas specified in the Schedule given below who are allotted Sets A & B for whom the first contribution period begins on mid- night of 16th November 1963 and ends on midnight of 25th lanuary 1964, and 28th March 1964 respectively.
