CUSTOMS
New Delhi , the 11th December 1963
G.S.K. 1916 - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts all types of lac falling under Items Nos . 22 and 23 of the Second Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) , when exported from India , from the whole of the duty of customs specified in the said Second Schedule .
