NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th December 1963
S.O. 3483.—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, in the late Ministry of Mines and Fuel S.O No. 3162 dated the 4th November, 1963 under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Develop- ment) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire lands in the locality specified in the Schedule appended to that notification;
And whereas the Central Government after considering the competent authority's report and alter consulting the Government of Madhya Pradesh is satisfied that the land measuring 2600.00 acres or 1053.00 hectares (approximately) described in Schedule appended hereto should be acquired.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the said Act, the Central Govt. hereby declares that the land measur- ing 2600.00 acres (approximately) or 1053.00 hectares (approximately) described in the said Schedule are hereby acquired.
The plan of the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the office of the Collector, Sidhi (M.P.) or in the office of the Coal Controller, 1, Council House Street, Calcutta or in the office of the National Coal Development Corpora- tion Ltd. (Revenue Section), "Darbhanga House", Ranchi (Bihar).
