IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 18th December 1963
SUBJECT. Imports-Import of machinery , equipment , testing apparatus , tools , etc. , under the Export Promotion Scheme.
No. 152 - ITC ( PN ) /63.-Attention of the Trade is invited to the Public Notices No 107 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 , and No. 151 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 , dated the 28th August , 1963 , and 12th December , 1963 , respectively on the above subject
2. It has now been decided that the import licences issued for the items listed in the above - mentioned Public Notices will be valid only for such varieties of these items as are permissible to the Established Importers and / or Actual Users under the current import policy Requests for import of those varieties of the Homs which are not allowed to be imported by the Established Importers , or Actual Users will be entertained by the licensing authorities only if certified by the Directorate General of Tech . Devpt. A certificate from the DGTD recom- mending the import of the item should accompany each application for such items
3. The shove amendinent will come into force with effect from the date of this Public Notice .
