New Delhi , the 20th December 1963
G.S.R. 1954. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of sec- tion 47 of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 ( 20 of 1963 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 20th day of December , 1963 , as the date from which the Consolidated Fund of the Union territory of Goa , Daman and Diu shall come into existence .
