IMPORT THADE CONTROL
SUBJECT.- Export Promotion-- Enhancement of import entitlement for export of Lemongrass Oil .
New Delhi , the 26th December 1963
No. 158 - ITC ( PN ) /63.-Attention is invited to item No. 24 of Part II of Annexure I to Appendix 23 of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the period April , 1963- March , 1964, inserted vide Public Notice No. 48 - ITC ( PN ) /63 , dated 18th May , 1963 .
2. It has now been decided to grant import licences for the import of Natural Essential Oils , Intermediates and other similar products including essential raw materials for the manufacture of Drugs ( individual list to be certified by the Directorate General of Technical Development ) against exports of Lemongrass Oil upto 10 per cent of the f.o.b. value of exports .
3. The existing entry in column 6 ( i ) of item 24 in Part II of Annexure I of Appendix 23 to Import Trade Control Policy Book inserted vide Public Notice No. 48 - ITC ( PN) / 63 , dated 18th May , 1963 , may be substituted by " 10 % " instead of " 5 % " in so far as it relates to Lemongrass Oil In column 7 against the said item the following entry may also be made:-
"Intermediates and other similar products including import of essential raw materials for the manufacture of Drugs will be permitted on the list of items being certified by the Directorate General of Technical Development .'
4. The above amendment will take effect on exports effected on or after the date of this Public Notice.
