PUBLIC NOTICE
IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi, the 27th December, 1963
SUBJECT:—Import of machinery, components thereof, equipment, other commodities and raw materials from the US.A. under the VS. AID Loan No. 082.
No. l59-MTCfPN)/63.—Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 62-ITC(PN)/63, dated the 21st June, 1963 setting out the conditions applicable to import licences under U.S. AID Loan No. 082.
2. The following amendments to the aforesaid Public Notice are notified: —
I. In the Appendix—Terms and Conditions governing the issue of Import Licences:—
Clause (vi), delete the words "(except general purpose components)" occurring in the first sentence thereof.
II. In Annexure I—List of Eligible items: —
(1) Item 30. for "dyestuffs" substitute "dyestuffs Including dye inter- mediates".
(ii) Item 30. for "Calcined Petroleum Coke" substitute "Petroleum Coke Including calcined Petroleum Coke".
(ill) Item 47. for "Miscellaneous Industrial Chemicals" substitute "Mis- cellaneous Industrial Chemicals, viz. (a) Antline (b) Acetone (c) Bota Naphtha (d) Methanol (e) Octanol (f) Phthalie Anvhdried (g) Potassium Chloride (Chemical Grade) (h) Tetra Aryl Silicates (I) Diphenyl/Dipheny} Oxide Mixture (1) Caprolactum (k) Methy- lene Chloride (11 Cellulose Acetate Flakes and Plasticisers Diethy Phthalate and Dimethyl Phthalate (m) Plasticisers—D.O.P. (Dioctyl Phthilate) D.I.O.P. (Dl-ISO-Octyl Phthalate) (n) Iso-octanol and (o) Pentane.
(iv) After item 49 insert the following additional items: —
"50. Radio Theodolite Equipment.
51. Test Equipment. 52. Slats for Pencils. 53. Ground Lighting Equipment. 54. Asbestos Fibre. 55. Refinery Chemicals.

IV. In Annexure V—List of U.S. suppliers (as revised by Public Notice No. U3-ITC(PN)/63, dated the 5th September, 1963 and subsequent Public Notice No. 149-ITC(PN)/63, dated the 6th December, 1963);
Item 2, for "Compressors, Ball Bearings and similar General Purpose components" substitute "Compressors and Bearings".
