NOTIFICATION
CUSTOMS
New Delhi , the 1st January 1964
of G.S.R. 30. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section ( 1) section 25 , read with sub - section ( 3 ) of section 160 , of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Revenue Division ) No. 146 - Customs , dated the 7th September , 1955 , the Central Government , being satisfled that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts nozzleholders and nozzles therefor and component parts of nozzles and nozzleholders , falling under item No. 75 ( 18 ) ( b ) ( ii ) of the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act , 1934 ( 32 of 1934 ) , imported into India, if of the United Kingdom manufacture , from so much of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the second mentioned Act asis in excess of 424 per cent ad valorem :
Provided that the said articles are not also adapted for use as parts and accessories of motor cars including taxi cabs .
