S.O. 185. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) of section 40 of the Defence of India Act , 1962 ( 51 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under rule 126 of the Defence of India Rules , 1962 , shall also be exercisable by the Government of the State of West Bengal .
