G.S.R. 212.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 3 of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1957, the Chairman hereby makes the following further amendments in the First Schedule to those rules with effect from the 30th January, 1964, namely:—

the following further amendments in the First Schedule to those Rules with effect from the 29th January, 1964, namely:—

In the First Schedule to the said Rules,—

(1) under the heading "Class III",—

(a) in the third column showing the number of permanent posts sanctioned—

(i) against item "20A. Upper Division Clerks" for the figures '17' the figures '27' shall be substituted;

(ii) against item "25. Senior Watch & Ward Assistants" for the figure '2' the figure 'b" shall be substituted- and

(b) for the entries relating to item "24A. Steno-typist" the following entries
