IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT : Withdrawal of import incentives against export of ( 1 ) Readymade articles of Rayon and Synthetic Fibres and yarn and ( 2) Woollen / Worsted/ Shoddy Yarn under the Export Promotion Schemes .
No. 10 - ITC ( PN ) / 64 . As the export of ( i ) Garments and readymade articles of Rayon and man - made fibres fabrics and ( ii ) woollen yarn respectively have been banned vide Export Trade Control Order No. E ( C ) O / 1962 /AM ( 41 ) , dated the 6th January , 1964 , it has been decided that the entry shown against item 17 ( c ) in Part I-Annexure I to Appendix 23 of the Red -Book for April 1963- March 1964 , may be treated as deleted .
2. The words " Woollen/ Worsted / Shoddy Yarn " appearing in column 3 of item 18 of Part I-Annexure I to Appendix 23 of the Import Trade Control Policy Book for the period April 1963- March 1964 are also hereby deleted ,
3. The above deletions will be deemed to have taken effect from the 6th January , 1964 .
