New Delhi , the 27th November 1964
S.O. 4103. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( i ) of Section 10 of the Indian Standards Institution ( Certification Marks ) Act, 1952 ( 36 of 1952 ) , read with rule 13 of the Indian Standards Institution (Certification Marks ) Rules , 1955 , the Central Government , in consultation with the Indian Standards Institu- tion , hereby directs that any powers exercísable by the said Institution under clause ( e ) of section 3 of the sald Act , shall also be exercisable by the Indian Jute Mills Association , Quality Control and Inspection Committee ( IJMAQIC ) , in respect of Jute products manufactured by Mills situated in the following states , namely:-
(1 ) Andhra Pradesh .
( 2) Bihar .
( 3) Madhya Pradesh .
(4) Uttar Pradesh and
(5) West Bengal .
