S. O. 731—ESS. COMM/IRON & STEEL/64—-The following notification issued by the Iron & Steel Controller under Sub-clause (1) of Clause 15 of the Iron & Steel (Control") Order, T956, is published for general information:—

"NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-clause (r) of Clause 15 of the Iron & Steel (Control) Order, 1956 as amended from time to time and with the approval of the Central Government, the Iron & Steel Controller notifies as hereundcr:

In supersession of the prices notified in Govt, of India Notification No. S.O. 2249-ESS. COMM/IRON & STEEL-i5(i) and 27 (1) published in Part II Section 3(ii) of the Gazette of India dated 1st November, 1958 and No. ISC/AP/62/60 dated 8th November, 1960 published in Partlll, Section I of Gazette of India dated 24th December 1960 as amended from time to time, the following revised prices are notified:—

(A) SCHEDULE No. I—Tinplates—The normal selling prices of all items of Tinplntes have been uniformly increased by 1.6%(One point six per cent) over the prices notified in the Part III Section I of the Gazette of India dated 1st June 1963/vide Notification No. AP/84/6N/ESS/COMM/ Iron & Steel-I5(i) dated 22nd May 1963].

Export Concessional Prices:

The export concessional prices of iron and steel materials notified m Government of India Notification No. ISC/AP/62/60 dated 8th November, i960 published in Part III—Section I of the Gazette of India dated 24th December i960 as amended irom rime to time stand revoked with effect from the date of publication of this Notification.

The above amendments take effect from the date of publication of this Notification in the Gazette of India.

S.O. 732.—The following Notification issued by the Iron and Steel Controller Is published for general Information:

NOTIFICATION

No. ESS.COMM/IRON AND STEEL,—4, 5, 7, 15, 18, 19, 20 and 27/1.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses 4, 5, 7, 15, 18, 19, 20 and 27 of the Iron and Steel (Control) Order, 195(i, and in supersession of the notifications specified In Schedule II annexed hereto, I, S. C. Mukherjee, Iron and Steel Controller, with the approval of the Central Government, hereby authorise that any person may acquire or agree to acquire and any person may dispose of or agree to dispose of, without any auota certificate or permit or authorisation, all categories of iron and steel other than those specified in Schedule I annexed hereto:

Provided that all categories oi iron and steel other than those specified in the said Schedule I are acquired or disposed of within India:

Provided further that nothing contained in this notification shrJ.1 apply to special steels specified In the Schedule annexed to the notification of the Iron and Sieel Controller No. ESS.COMM/IRON AND STEEL—4, 5 & 15/1. dated the 22nd February. 1964.

1. Pig Iron including ingot moulds and bottom plate. 2. Billets including Unbars.
