S.O. 1108. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( 1 ) of article 239 of the Constitution and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of External Affairs No. 373 -Goa / 63 , dated the 24th June , 1963 , the President hereby appoints , with immediate effect , Shri M. R. Sachdev, as Adminis- trator of the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli . 2. Shri M. R. Sachdev will hold office as such Administrator in addition to his office of Lieutenant Governor of Goa , Daman and Diu .

S.O. 1109. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 ( 1 ) of the Code of Criminal Procedure , 1898 ( 5 of 1898 ) , as in force in the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri H. K. Khan , I.A.S. , as a Judge of the Court of Session for the said territory .
