New Delhi , the 26th March 1964
S.O. 1110. The following Order made by the President on March 25 , 1964 , is published for general information: -
ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( 3 ) of article 77 of the Constitu- tion , the President hereby makes , with immediate effect , the following amendments in the Government of India (Allocation of Business ) Rules , 1961 , namely : - In the said Rules-
(A) in the First Schedule ,
for entry 8 , the following entry shall be substituted , namely: - "Ministry of Home Affairs ( with a Department of Administrative Reforms within the Ministry ) . " ;
(B) in the Second Schedule ,
(a) under the heading " Ministry of Home Affairs " ,
( i ) entry 46 shall be omitted ;
(ii ) after entry 125 the following sub -heading and entries shall be insert- ed , namely :
"Department of Administrative Reformas 126. Administrative Reforms .
127. Organisation and Methods . " ;
(b ) under the heading " Cabinet Secretariat " , and sub - heading " A. Depart- ment of Cabinet Affairs " , entry " 3. Organisation and Methods . " shall be omitted
