S.O. 1207.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -clause ( a) of clause ( 1 ) of Article 80 of the Constitution of India, read with clause ( 3 ) of that Article , the President is pleased to nominate to the Council of States the following four persons namely : -
1. Shri Jairamdas Daulatram
2. Professor B. N. Prasad
3. Shri G. Ramachandran
4. Shrimati Shakuntala Paranjpye
to fill the seats of the four nominated members to the Council of States retiring on the 2nd April , 1964 on the expiration of their terms of office .

S.O. 1208. Ajmal Khan to the Council of States to fill the seat which has fallen vacant on the demise of Shri V. T. Krishnamachari .
