NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 1st April 1964
8.O.-1212.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 3 ) of rule 126C of the Defence of India Rules 1962 and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ) No. F. 1 / 62/63 -GC - Il , dated the 19th December 1963 [ published in Part II , Section 3 ( ii) of the Gazette of India, dated the 28th December , 1963 ] , I, B. D. Pande , Administrator , hereby specify that after the period ending with the 30th day of April 1964, every person who makes , manufactures or sells any primary gold shall put a stamp on each piece of primary gold-
(1 ) certifying the purity of gold contained in such primary gold and the date of making or manufacturing thereof; and
(ii ) containing such descriptive and other particulars which may enable the identification of the maker or manufacturer of such primary gold.
