NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd April 1964
S.O. 1215.—Whereas elections have been held in pursuance of the notification dated the 4th March 1964, issued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act. 1951 (43 of 1051), for the purpose of filling the seats at the members of the Council of States elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assem- blies of the States and the members of the electoral colleges of the Union Territories of Himachal Pradesh and Delhi, and retiring on the 2nd April, 1964 on the expira- tion of their terms of office;
Now, therefore, In pursuance of section 71 of the said Act, the names of the members elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assemblies" of the States, and the members of the electoral colleges of the Union territories specified below, and the names of the members nominated by the President under sub-clause (a) of clause (1) of article 80 of the Constitution are hereby notified for general informa- tion:—
