G.S.R. 607.—The following Order made by the President is published for general information : —
The Governor of Gujarat (Allowances and Privileges) (Amendment) Order, 1964.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Bombay Reorgani- sation Act, 1960 (11 of 1960), the President hereby makes the following Order to amend the Governor of Gujarat (Allowances and Privileges) Order, 1960, namely: —
1. (1) This Order may be called the Governor of Gujarat (Allowances and Privileges) (Amendment) Order, 1964.
(2) (a) Paragraph 2 of this Order shall come and shall be deemed always to have come into force on the 1st day of May, 1960.
(b) Paragraph 3 of this Order shall come and shall be deemed always to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 1961.
2. Paragraph 8 of the Governor of Gujarat (Allowances and Privileges) Order, 1960 (hereinafter referred to in this Order as the "Principal Order ) shall be relettered as clause (a) thereof and after clause (a) as BO relettered, the following clause shall be inserted, namely: —
"(b) In the case of the first Governor, there shall be paid on additional initial grant of Rs. 2,26,000/- for the same purpose.
In the Second Schedule to the Principal Order. under -------- "Military Secretary (or A.D.C.) and his establishment Below the figures 90 000" the following figures shall be inserted, namely:-
"120,000 . for the year 1961-62."
