S.O. 1276. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Representa- tion of the People Act , 1951 , and in supersession of its notification No. 100/TR- CS /1/67 ( 4 ) , dated the 10th April , 1967 , the Election Commission , in consultation with the Government of Tripura , hereby designates the Additional District Magis- trate and Collector ( Revenue ) , Tripura , to be the Returning Officer for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 /TH- CS/1/67(1), dated the 10th April, 1967.

S.O. 1277. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , and in supersession of its notifi- cation No. 100 /TR - CS / 1 / 67 ( 5 ) , dated the 10th April , 1967 , the Election Commis- sion hereby appoints the Deputy Collector ( Land Acquisition ) , District Magis- trate's Office,Office, Tripura,Tripura , Agartala , to assist the Returningning OfficerOfficer for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 /TR -CS/ 1/87 ( 1) , dated the 10th April, 1967 , in the performance of his functions .
