S.O. 1317. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 4, of the Customs Act, 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri B. Sen , Collector of Customs , Madras , also to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the Collector of Customs in the jurisdiction of the Collector of Central Excise , Madras , with effect from the date on which he assumes charge and until further orders .
