S.O. 1436.-In pursuance of sub - clause ( a ) of clause 2 of the Essential Commodi- tles (Regulation of Production and Distribution for purposes of Export ) Order , 1966 , the Central Government hereby appoints the Iron and Steel Controller as Director for the purposes of the said Order with regard to all or any of the categories of Iron and Steel .
