NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi , the 22nd April 1964
S.O. 1420.-Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the resignation of Dr. K. L. Shrimali , elected to that House from the Bhilwara Constituency in the State of Rajasthan;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect , before the 30th May, 1964, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder, a person to fill the vacancy so caused .

S.O. 1421. In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 , the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye - election to be heldin the Bhilwara Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Rajasthan in pursuance of its notification No. 100/ RJ - HP/ 1 / 64 ( 1 ) , dated the 22nd April , 1964:-
( a) the 29th April , 1964, as the last date for making nominations ;
(b ) the 1st May , 1964, as the date for the scrutiny of nominations ;
( c ) the 4th May , 1964 , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures ;
(d) the 27th May, 1964, as the date on which the poll shall , if necessary, be taken; and
( e) the 30th May , 1964 , as the date before which the election shall be com- pleted,

S.O. 1422. In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary be taken for the election to the House of the People from the Bhilwara Constituency to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / RJ - HP/ 1 / 64 ( 1 ) , dated the 22nd April , 1964 .
