8.O. 1548.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act , 19511951 , the ElectionElection Commission hereby appoints Shri Bishembernath , Under Secretary , Law Department also to assist the Returning Officer for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / J & K - CS/ 1 / 67 ( 1 ) , dated the 6th April , 1967 in the per- formance of his functions .

8.0 . 1549.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section ( 1 ) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951. the Election Commission hereby appoints Shri Bishembernath . Under Secretary , Law Department also to assist the Returning Officer for the election to the Counci¹ of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / J & K - CS / 2 / 67 ( 1 ) , dated the 5th April , 1967 in the per- formance of his functions .
