IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 27th April 1964
SUBJECT: -Import of Raw material / components conversion of a part of the licence for import of Iron and Steel items .
No. 34 - ITC ( PN ) /64.-Attention of the importers is invited to Ministry of Inter- national Trade Public Notice No. 126 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 dated 30th September, 1963 on the above subject .
2. It has been decided to include Scientific Instruments and X - ray and Electro medical industries in the list of industries given in Annexure to Ministry of Inter- national Trade Public Notice No. 126 - ITC ( PN ) / 63 dated 30th September , 1963 and to permit these industries to convert their A.U. licences for raw materials (other than iron and steel ) / components to the extent of 10 % of the face value thereof for import of iron and steel items licensable by the Iron and Steel Controller other than utensil gauge stainless steel sheets subject to the conditions specified in the said Public Notice .
