S.O. 1425. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 4 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri M. A. Rangaswamy , Collector of Customs , Bombay , also to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the Collector of Customs in the jurisdiction of the Collector of Customs and Central Excise , Goa , with effect from the date on which he assumes charge and until further orders .
