G.S.R. 711.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962. ( 52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts coir products as defined in clause (d) of section 3 of the Coir Industry Act , 1953 (45 of 1953 ) , exported from India, from the duty of customs leviable thereonthereon under sub - section (1 ) of section 13 of the said Coir Industry Act, 1953 , read with sub - section ( 1 ) of section 12 of the said Customs Act , 1962 .
