S.O. 1518. The following Order made by the President on May 3 , 1964 , is published for general information :-
ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( 3 ) of article 77 of the Constitu- tion, the President hereby makes , the following amendments in the Government of India (Allocation of Business ) Rules , 1961 , namely:-
In the said Rules-
(A) in the First Schedule , for entry
" 21. Department of Posts & Telegraphs " , the following entry shall be subs- tituted , namely:-
" 21. Department of Communications " ;
( B) in the Scond Schedule,
( a) under the heading " Ministry of Finance" ,
(1) under Sub- heading " A. Department of Economic Affairs " , section " X. Stock Exchange " and entries 46 and 47 under that section shall be omitted;
( 11) under Sub- heading " C. Department of Revenue and Company Law " after entry 12 , the following entries shall be inserted , namely :-
" 12A. Administration of Securities Contracts ( Regulation ) Act , 1956.
12B . Regulation of Stock Exchanges . " ;
(b ) under the heading , " Ministry of Law " and sub - heading
"B. Legislative Department " , after entry 5 , the following entry shall be inserted , namely:-
" 5A . Official Languages ( Legislative ) Commission , New Delhi . " ; and ( c) for the existing heading "Department of Posts & Telegraphs " , the following heading shall be substituted , namely :--
"Department of Communications " .
