G.S.R. 707.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 26 of the Customs Act, 1962 (32 of 1962), the Central Government, being [satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No, 101-Customs, dated the 6th June. 1966, namely: —
In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, in column (4) against Serial No. 4 relating to "Raw Wool", for the figures and words "20 pet cent ad valorem", the figures and words "10 per cent ad valorem" shall be substituted.
