8.O. 1716.- In pursuance of the provisions of section 12 of the Presidential and Vice- Presidential Elections Act , 1952 ( 31 of 1952 ) , the following declaration con- taining the name of the person elected to the office of President of India is pub- lished for general information:-
" DECLARATION
In pursuance of the provision contained in section 11 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Act , 1952 ( 31 of 1952 ) , 1 , B. N. Banerjee , the Return- ing Officer for the Presidential Election, hereby declare that Dr. Zakir Husain , 6. MaulanaAzadAzad Road, New Delhi , has been duly elected to the officeoffice of the Presi- dent of India.
