S.R.O. 13 - E.- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub - section ( 1) of section 15 of the Cantonments Act , 1924 ( 2 of 1924 ) , and in supersession of the Notification of the Government of India , in the Ministry of Defence SRO No. 120 , dated the 8th April 1967 , the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in order to avoid administrative difficulty hereby further extends the term of office of the elected members of Wards Nos . I, II , III , IV and VI of Jullundur Cantonment Board upto 31st March 1968 or the date of notification of election of their successors in office in the official gazette , whichever is earlier .
S.R.O. 14 - E.-S.R.O . No. 121 published in the Ministry of Defence Gazette Notification Part II Section 4 of 8th April 1967 fixing 11th June 1967 , as the date for holding elections in Wards Nos . I , ÎI , III , IV and VI of Jullundur Cantonment Board is hereby cancelled.
