RESOLUTION New Delhi, the 13th May 1967
S.O. 1720—Dr- Zakir Husain having been elected as President of the Republic of India takes his seat as President of India under a salute of 31 guns.
Order.—Ordered that the following Proclamation be published in the Gazette of India:—
PROCLAMATION
Whereas Dr. Zakir Husain has been elected to be the President of the Republic of India and has assumed the said office, the said appointment is hereby notified.
Order.—Ordered that the Proclamation be sent for information to the Principal Military Stations.
Ordered that a copy of the Proclamation and copies of foregoing orders be sent for information to the
