S.O. 1784. In pursuance of the provisions of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected in the constituencyconstituency referred to therein is published for general information :
DECLARATION
Bye - Election to the House of the People , Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency .
"In pursuance of the provisions contained in section 66 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , read with rule 64 of the Conduct of Elections Rules , 1961 , I declare that Karan Singh Maharaja of Karan Nagar , Jammu has been duly clected to fill the seat in the above constituency .
