S.O. 1863. -In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 82-B of the Indian Railways Act, 1890 (Act IX of 1890), the Central Government hereby appoint Shri Niranjan Sarkar, Additional District Judge, Jalpaigurl as Claims Commit sioner to deal with, in addition to his own duties, all claims for compensation arising out of the accident on the 11th November, 1986 involving Military Special No. SP 987 between Sivok and Pilanshat stations on the Slligurl—Allpurduar Section of Northeast Frontier Railway- His headquarters will be at Jalpaiguri.
