NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 25th May 1967
G.S.R. 781.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Defence of India Act , 1962 ( 51 of 1962 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Defence of India Rules , 1962 , namely: --
1. These rules may be called the Defence of India ( Amendment ) Rules , 1967 .
2. In rule 30A of the Defence of India Rules , 1962 , to sub - rules ( 9 ) and ( 9A ) , the following proviso shall be added , namely:-
"Provided that nothing in this sub - rule shall be deemed to require such Government to disclose facts on which its decision is based ifased if in its opinion such disclosure will not be in the public interest . "
