New Delhi , the 29th May 1964
S.R.O. 18 - E . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( i ) of section 2 of the Armed Forces ( Emergency Duties ) Act , 1947 ( 15 of 1947 ) , the Central Government hereby declares the following services to be services of vital import- ance to the community , namely:-
Services connected with such operations of the Mormugao port as are consi- dered by the Naval Officer-in- Charge , Goa as essential operations .
