NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 1st June 1964
G.S.R. 847. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 11 of the Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act , 1952 ( 58 of 1952 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Ministers ' (Allowances , Medical Treatment and Other Privileges ) Rules , 1957 , namely :
1. These rules may be called the Ministers' ( Allowances , Medical Treatment and Other Privileges ) Second Amendment Rules , 1964 .
2. In the Ministers' ( Allowances , Medical Treatment and Other Privileges ) Rules , 1957 , for sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 3 , the following sub - rule shall be substituted, namely:-

In the Ministers ' ( Allowances , Medical Treatment and Other Privileges ) and Co - operation with effect from the 16th February 1963 , to the Minister of Irrigation and Power with effect from the 1st January , 1964, and to the Minister of Works and Housing with effect from the 16th April , 1964 , a sumptuary allowance of Rs . 250 per mensem. "
