S.O. 1898. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 1 of the Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha Act, 1964 ( 14 of 1964 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of June , 1964 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force .
