S.O. 1996. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of section 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure ( Amendment ) Act , 1963 ( 26 of 1963 ) , the Central Gov nment herebants the 5th day of June , 1964 as the date on which section 3 of the said Act shall come into force .
