New Delhi, the 6th June 1967

S.O. 2008.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Clause (b) of Clause 2 of the Newsprint Control Order, 1962, No. CHl-18(l)/62 dated the 17th January, 1962, the Government of India is- hereby pleased to appoint Shn" P. K. Sinha Section Officer, Office of the Registrar of Newspapers for India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, New Delhi to exercise the powers of the Controller under that Order, with effect from 9th May 1967.

2. The earlier Notification No. S O. 424 dated the 2nd February, 1966 in so far as It relates to the appointment of Shri M. L. Tandon for exercising the powers of Controller under the said order is hereby cancelled.
