No. 14/9/64-Pub.I.—The President has been pleased to accept the resignation of Shri Gulzarilal Nanda of his office of Prime Minister and of all the other Members of the Council of Ministers with effect from the forenoon of 9th June, 1964.
3. The President has been pleased to appoint Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri to be the Prime Minister with effect from the forenoon of the 9th June, 1964 and, on the advice of the Prime Minister, the following persons to be the other Members of the Council of Ministers with effect from the same date.
