New Delhi , the 27th June 1964
G.S.R. 931. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby rescinds the Madras Rice Procurement ( Levy ) Order , 1964, published under the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture ( Department of Food) , No. G.S.R. 75 , dated the 7th January , 1964 :
Provided that such recission shall not affect
( a) the previous operation of the said Order or anything duly done or suffered thereunder ; or
(b) any right , privilege , obligation or liability acquired; accrued or in- cured under the said Order ; or
( c ) any penalty , forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any of- fence committed against the said Order ; or
(d) any investigation,investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation , liability , penalty , forfeiture or punish- ment as aforesaid;
and any such investigation , legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted , continued or enforced and any such penalty , forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the sald Order had not been rescinded .

G.S.R. 932. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby rescinds , with immediate effect , the Andhra Pradesh Paddy ( Movement Control ) Order 1964 , published under G.S.R. 417 , dated the 5th March , 1964 , in the Gazette of India Extraordinary [Part II Section 3-sub- section ( i ) ] , dated the 5th March, 1964.
