IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT .- Imports-Policy for Rubber thread falling under S. No. 41 ( v ) / V , during April , 1964 March , 1965 , period.
No. 66 - ITC ( PN ) / 64 . Attention of the importers is invited to the Public Notice No. 43 - ITC ( PN) / 64, dated 25th May , 1964, in terms of which licences for import of rubber thread are not to be issued to actual users .
2. The position has been further reviewed and in modification of the above Public Notice , it has now been decided to allow import of Bare rubber thread of over 60 gauges to actual users in consultation with the Textile Commissioner, Bombay. TheThe following remark may , therefore, be deemed to have been inserted against S. No. 41 ( v ) /V, in AnnexureAnnexu 4, Section III of the current Red Book : -
"A.U. applications for import of Bare rubber thread of over 60 gauges will be considered by the licensing authorities at ports in consultation with the Textile Commissioner , Bombay ."
