8.O. 2757.In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 5 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act , 1952 (60 of 1952 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that the provisions of sub - sections ( 2 ) to ( 5 ) ( inclusive ) of the said section shall apply to the Commission of Inquiry appointed by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture , ( Department of Food) No. 2870. dated the 3rd August , 1064 .
