IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT - Import of piston assemblies during April 1964-March 1965 .
No. 68 - ITC ( PN ) / 64 .--Attention of the importers is invited to remark ( i ) against item No. 9 of List III , Appendix 26 in Section III of the current Red Book in terms of which not more than 40 % of the face value of quota licences can be utilised for import of aluminium piston assemblies of 6" dia and less , and within the face value restriction of 40 % , not more than 25 % of this part of the licence can be utilised for import of aluminium piston assemblies ( including over sizes ) .
2. The position has been reviewed and it has been decided that the existing remark ( 1 ) against item No. 9 of List III , Appendix 26 in Section III of current Red Book may be deemed to have been amended as under : ----
"Not more than 40 % of the lace value of quota licences can be utilised for import of aluminium piston assemblies of 6 " dia . and less ( including over sizes ) . "
