S.O. 2983.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Life Insurancerance CorроrCorporation Act , 1956 (31 of 1956 ) , the Central Government hereby directs that with effect from the 1st September 1964/ Bhadra 10 , 1886 ( Saka ) , the Life Insurance Corporation of India shall consist of the following members , 1.
